Fayrene Pospisil

 

Fayrene passed away January 23, 2010.  She was a long time member of Bluebonnet chapter and had just recently stopped coming to meetings.   She had two passions in life - painting and sports. She was blessed with great creativity and artistic talent that she used to make her signature Christmas Santas.

 

Pat Holder

Pat passed away on January 14, 2010.

 

Mary Welsh

Mary passed away on October 2, 2008.  She was a long time member of the Bluebonnet Chapter.

 

Gene Prewitt

    Gene passed away in August 2006. 

Meg Keir

    Meg was  Bluebonnet Chapter's first President.  Meg was also President of SDP and was on many other SDP committees.

Vondale Miller

    Vondale died in October 9, 2004.  She was a 31-year member of SDP and belonged to Bluebonnet and Ft. Worth Decorative Painters as well as Yellow Rose.

Maxine Farmer

    Maxine was a charter member of Bluebonnet Chapter.  She passed away on September 23, 2004.

Wyn Norton

    Wyn was president of Bluebonnet Chapter in 1994, the year she passed away.

Marian Johnson

    Marian was president of Blue in 1991.  She passed away April 18, 2001.

Dorothy Mullins

    Dorothy had a Painting shop in Irving.  She exhibited at SDP conventions annually and authored many books and pattern packets.

      

Peggy Hobbs

    Peggy, along with Mary Jo Leisure, owned the Village Tole Shop in Arlington, until it burned.  It was one of the first Tole & Decorative painting shops.  Many well known teachers taught there.  Peggy was an oil painter and Rosemaler.  She authored many books and pattern packets.

        

Estelle Morris

    Estelle was an early member of Bluebonnet Chapter.  She was president 1979.

Betty Phillips

    Betty was one of the original 22 Artists that formed The Society of Tole and Decorative Painters.  She owned a shop in Ft. Worth.

Leota Roark

    Leota was Pat Wayman's mother.  She taught China Painting.
